Waihi Beach ResidenceClients have come to us after an unsuccessful first attempt with another designer. The Clients (who live in Wellington) were looking to create a home that brings “the charm of Wellington’s character homes with a coastal twist”. The site was relatively small for the brief and there were several site specific constraints that made it very difficult to tick all the boxes. We have come up with a design that minimised internal circulation which then allowed for a large open living plan with look throughs throughout the house to the see. The design features lovely outdoor living areas and a private deck and extra lounge for the master suite to fully appreciate the breathtaking views of the ocean. The building has won the ‘Registered Master Builders - HOUSE OF THE YEAR, National TOP 100 Award, Supreme Renovation of the Year, Regional Category Winner, Regional Gold’ Awards.
